The Location
No airco, the room was to warm. À lot of bugs.

The location and views are really impressive. The pool/sauna/etc are nice, but probably not 5stars - need to bring 2 euros to lock the locker, need to bring towels from the room etc. The place is quite isolated, so it doesn't offer a lot of variety in terms of food - and restaurant in the hotel is quite pricey. I liked the stay very much but probably wouldn't stay there for the full price.
On the back side traveling by a car I wouldn't want to drive the road to the hotel (last 10km) too often. It goes through the park and is quite old and sometimes scary

Nestled high in the hills, this hotel offers breathtaking views of Lake Lugano and the surrounding area. the location is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, with hiking trails and a beautiful church just minutes away. the spacious rooms are clean and comfortable, with well, maintained bathrooms and friendly service. the breakfast spread is satisfactory, with gluten, free options available.
The hotel's spotty Wi, Fi signal can be frustrating, and the restaurant could use more variety in their dinner menu.

Almost everything.
We arrived by night and the access is by a dark, narrow forest road. Very scary for my daughter.

I couldn't believe my luck when I stumbled upon this hidden gem of a hotel. The prices were incredibly reasonable, considering the breathtaking views of the surrounding forest and valleys from the rooms with a patio. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the well-chosen furniture in the common areas to the beautifully manicured gardens. The staff provided excellent service, making me feel incredibly welcome throughout my stay. And let's not forget the delicious breakfast served each morning, which set me up for a day of exploring the picturesque area.
All was absolutely fine during my stay at this hotel.

Location, Location, Location. Hotel is build pretty much on a top of the hill overlooking the Lugano Lake. The view from the room is just awesome. Beautiful forest surrounds the hotel. An outlet with several factory stores is 25 minutes drive away in the town of Mendrisio. City of Lugano is 30 minutes drive on a regular road, and less by motorway. Hidden gem.
Hard to find - do print the map or have gps available, especially if arriving late. Signs can easily be missed. breakfast would be more generous.

I loved the serenity of the hotel. I felt safe and above the world it was awesome. The receptionist were very friendly and willing to help. The bathroom is the cleanest I have ever seen, it was spotless.
There was no room service and the buffet did not quite have variety. Also to complete the experience romantic movies or entertainment in English would have been good as the only channels were in French and german.

This hotel is a hidden gem tucked away in a very poetic area with breath-taking views. The location is totally out of place with the beautiful surrounding forest, making it a tranquil and picturesque escape. The rooms with a patio overlooking the valleys below offer the most spectacular views and provide a serene atmosphere to relax in. The staff at this hotel are absolutely amazing - so friendly and attentive to every detail.
All was okay, nothing to complain about.

Great views and peaceful location, perfect for a relaxing stay away from the city. The rooms were clean and comfortable with large balconies. The spa facilities were a plus, especially the hamam and jacuzzi.
The restaurant was not exceptional, a bit pricey with a limited selection. The pool was too cold to swim in comfortably.

This hotel is a hidden gem nestled in a beautiful, natural setting. Surrounded by a breathtaking forest, the location is truly poetic. The views from the rooms are absolutely spectacular, with patios that overlook the valleys below. It's hard to believe that such a peaceful retreat exists so close to the bustling city. The staff at this hotel are top-notch, providing excellent service and attention to detail. The basic amenities are well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay. Furthermore, the breakfast served has a wide variety of options to satisfy every palate.
Not a single flaw!

Beautiful scenery and well-maintained facilities made for a relaxing stay. Staff was friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. We especially appreciated the convenient location for hiking nearby areas and the exquisite views from our room and restaurant.
We were disappointed in the outdated rooms and the slow service at the restaurant, which seemed overwhelmed at times. the remote location may be challenging for those unfamiliar with the area and the lack of in-room amenities, like a kettle, was frustrating.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The staff was kind and helpful, providing tips for hiking and printing out travel information. The hotel facilities were top-notch, including a spa with a sauna, steam bath, relaxation room, and massage room. There was also an indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi. The location was stunning, surrounded by mountains and with breathtaking views of Lake Lugano. The breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of parking available.
Nothing, all excellent.
